Product Description
The aluminum silicate needle felt is designed for long-term temperature resistance, with a standard variant capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celsius, and a reinforced version able to endure temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Celsius. It comes in a variety of dimensions: width of 0.61 meters, and thickness options of 10mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 50mm.
The blanket boasts a pristine white color, precise sizing, and easy cutting and installation properties, making it convenient to work with and saving construction time. It is binder-free, enabling prolonged use in neutral and oxidizing atmospheres. Its characteristics include low heat capacity, low thermal conductivity, high refractoriness, and excellent thermal sensitivity, along with good resistance to chemical corrosion.
Additionally, the blanket exhibits remarkable resistance against wind erosion and mechanical impact. Its applications span a wide range, including industrial kilns and furnaces, boiler linings, insulating backings, and heat insulation for steam engines and gas turbines. It is also suitable for fire protection in various industrial equipment and as thermal insulation for electrical components.
The ceramic felt can be fabricated with aluminum fiberglass cloth and die cut to different sizes and shapes based requests and drawings
